Turn “Zoom Networking” into a Useful Referral Network

If you’ve ever been in a Zoom networking meeting where attendees post contact info in the chat, and the host reminds everyone to save the chat, and you actually remember to do that, but the then file disappears somewhere in the /Zoom/ directory structure, never to be seen again, this is for you (and me).

You can drop this file right into Mimiran and get a list of contact information that you can touch up, and import.

That’s already an improvement, but we need to follow up with these folks 1-1, so we just click the Follow Up button and go through the list. Out of the box, we see tasks defined by the Networking tag, like connecting on LinkedIn and sending an email to schedule a 1-1 (you can have your Mimiran calendar link in there), and you can just go from one to the next, no stress and no one slips through the cracks. (You can customize the tags and the tasks.)

When you meet 1-1, capture ideal client and partner profiles so it’s easier to make connections. Make and track introductions with task templates, and track connections that people make for you so you can thank them (and encourage more).

Use Mimiran’s Mission & Positioning tool to craft a compelling Zoom introduction story, then make sure you follow up.

So if you’re spending too much time “networking”, without building a useful referral network, start your Mimiran free trial and grab 1 or more of those old (or new) Zoom chat logs.
