Creating a proposal from a template copies any quotes from the template to the new proposal. This makes it really fast to have your proposal ready to go. Except for one thing. Mimiran would prepend “Copy of ” to the beginning of the quote name. If you have just one quote on your proposal (most cases), this is just an aesthetic annoyance. But if you have 2 or more quotes, to present options to your prospect, these quote names would appear in the pricing tables in the proposal content. Which meant you had to manually remove the “Copy of ” from each quote. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but still irritating, especially if you had gone to the trouble of naming your options meaningfully (“Scoping”, “Initial Implementation”, etc.).
I’m glad to say that Mimiran now simply copies the quote names directly, without prepending anything, saving you time and irritation.
(More improvements are coming to the proposal creation process, stay tuned.)
