We all get the same 24 hours each day, etc, etc. You know the sayings…
Unfortunately, most of these sayings come with the message about how we need to do more with those 24 hours. We are running faster and faster, just to avoid falling behind. But a hamster wheel is not a good place to live.
And just trying to cram more stuff into 24 hours, even with VAs and AI, doesn’t necessarily mean better results (let alone a better life).
If 1 prospect conversation is good, 2 must be better, right? And 10 that much better still?
But in addition to finding the time for those 10 conversations, what else is happening?
When we focus more on the number than the quality of the connection, we loosen our ideal client profile. We rush through conversations instead of digging deeper. We don’t follow up with introductions, questions, and detailed next steps.
It’s not just that the 10 prospect calls might not be better than the 1, it’s quite likely that they are worse– that you’ll spend more time and energy, with less calm and enjoyment, for worse results.
And yet, you still need to Get #$%@ Done!
How can you balance?
