Like so many apps, Mimiran has screens to show you information about a record, and a corresponding screen to create or edit information for that record.
This works well, but sometimes, you may want to edit information without switching over to the form page. For example, you’re deep in Call Mode and taking notes, and you need to edit an Ideal Client Profile or note who referred this person.
With my eye is improving after surgery, I’m able to spend more time in front of the screen (although I’m still behind on some very important tasks), and I finally released a feature I’d been working on for a while that lets you edit contacts as you look at their info, without having to go to a separate screen.
I toyed and tinkered and had it just right, and, wanting to be better about making videos about new features, created a video about the new feature.
But I realized that not only had I neglected to mention keyboard shortcuts, I subconsciously wanted to double-click on a field to be able to edit it, without necessarily clicking the edit icon, so of course, I had to go implement that and re-record the video.
After all, I’m not building a CRM for dedicated sales teams with spouses and nannies, I’m building it for the people who want to focus on their kids, their passions (hopefully including their client projects), etc, but who still need to keep up with business development in their “spare” time. So I need to do everything I can to take friction out of the “CRM” part, so you can focus on the relationship part.
