Sales Proposal Buzzword Highlighter Now Live

If you’ve read this blog before, you know how much I hate terrible writing.

If not, check out:

A little over a year ago, I referenced an article by Bryan Garner over at Harvard Business Review on removing business jargon from your writing and joked that it would be awesome to have a way to flag jargon and buzzwords in your proposals.

Well, now you can. In Preview mode, there’s now a “Highlight Jargon” button in the top panel.

Even if you don’t even use Mimiran for your proposals (gasp!), you can use the Free Buzzword Highlighter now available on mimiran.com. It’s not the same thing as really digging into your writing and your thinking to make sure you communicate cleanly, but it’s a start. When you can communicate crisply in your proposals, you let the customer know that you understand the problem, the solution, the risks, and the benefits, and you provide a clear path to those benefits. If you only provide world-class bleeding-edge multi platform synergistic solutions that strive to constantly exceed expectations, you’ve just wasted everyone’s time, starting with your own, and the deal is likely to go to someone who seems to actually something useful.

Check out the Free Buzzword Highlighter.

(Also, if I’ve missed any, let me know in the comments.)
